A Romantic Comedy directed by John Anthony & produced by Robbie Thain.  The Cemetery Club, by Ivan Menchell, is a heart-warming comedy set in New York. The action centres around the profound, but sometimes tempestuous, friendship between three Jewish ladies (Ida, Lucille and Doris). Will their friendship survive the change in the group dynamic caused by the arrival of a 'man' (Sam) and then an external rival for his affections (Mildred)?.

We have just finished a very successful production in nov 2007 of the above play. We played to sell out audiences of over 520 people over 6 nights. It was perhaps our best production yet, and our most ambitious with a cast of 14 !!!. Reviews to follow.....

This was a a diversification for the players. We performed a touring production of our Murder Mystery Play (written by our own John Anthony !) to great success. The evening was structured around a three course meal with the players acting out each short scene between the courses. The dinner guests had several "tasks" to complete thoughout the evening with the ultimate test being to identify the murderer !!!

Performances where delivered to Scothern Church Council, Market Rasen Twinning Association and Nettleton Village Hall Committee amongst many others.

DUE TO THE SUCCESS OF THIS VENTURE WE ARE CONTINUING TO PERFORM THIS EVENT THROUGHOUT 2008/9

Marc Camoletti’s boulevard comedy for three men and three women was originally a smash hit under the title “pyjamas pour six”. Robin Hawdon’s adaptation ran to critical acclaim in the west end for two yearsstaring Simon Cadell and Su Pollard.

In a stylish French converted farm house, Bernard is hoping to entertain his chic Parisian girlfriend Suzy for the weekend. He has arranged for a Cordon Bleu cook to furnish the gourmet delights, is in the process of packing his wife, Jacqueline, off to her mothers and has even invited along his best friend, Robert, as a suitable alibi. Its foolproof, what could possibly go wrong……..

Well supposing Robert turns up without knowing why he has been invited ?
Say Robert and Jacqueline are secret lovers? Or how about the cook being mistakenfor the mistress and the mistress who cant cook ? Mix all these ingredients and you have the perfect recipe for and evening of hilarious confusion as Bernard and Robert Improvise at breakneck speed !!

"Nobody's Perfect" is a comedy written by Simon Williams. It is a fast moving and witty comedy that centres around the life of a shy, staid statistician called Leonard Loftus who writes a feminist novel under the pretence of "Myrtle Banbury". When his book wins a writing competition, Harriet Copeland from "Love is all around" wants to meet Myrtle, leaving Leonard no choice but to assume Myrtle's identity. However, little does he expect to fall in love with Harriet! It is a wonderfully funny and well written play that is certain to make for an entertaining evening.
