Scothern Players are back!
After an 18 month break due to the the COVID-19 pandemic, Scothern Players have resumed rehearsals for their long awaited situational farce "Don't Get Your Vicars in a Twist". Yes, the comedy play you should have seen in January 2020 is back! Barring further restrictions being imposed, it will be staged for your enjoyment at Scothern Village Hall on the 5th, 6th, 12th and 13th of November 2021. Doors will open at 7 pm for a 7.30 pm start, and all tickets will cost a mere £9 each. To ensure your safety we have reduced our seating capacity to give you more breathing space and masks may be worn if you wish to do so. Come along and enjoy the experience of live entertainment that you have been denied since the dreaded virus first reared its ugly head. What happens when the Vicar is away? The church wardens arrange a murder mystery weekend in the vicarage of course. But when the Bishop makes a surprise visit identities are confused and mayhem results ! We only hope we can do justice to a hilarious and clever script by Anne Gawthorpe and Lesley Bown. So, this November don't miss the best laughs since....well, since we could laugh in public without a face covering!
