30th Anniversary 2024

September 2024 Update

2024 is a landmark in the history of Scothern Players. It marks our thirtieth anniversary of bringing amateur theatre to the local community. To mark this milestone we are preparing to re-visit one of the best loved of  our early previous productions – J.B. Priestley’s “When We Are Married”.

Rehearsals are well under way with several exciting new cast members, a cluster of seasoned regulars and even a few die-hards from the company’s inseption (zimmers parked outside !). The cast are having a great time, with each run becoming funnier and more fulfilling as characters emerge and scripts are put down.

We hope you will be able to join us for this delightful show of pure Yorkshire charm and humour.

Performances will be on Fri 29^th / Sat 30^th Nov and Fri 6^th / Sat 7^th Dec 2024 at Scothern Village Hall. TICKETS ON SALE SOON
